AXON Soft has hosted the monthly reunion of the French Affairs Club to Cluj, an occasion to show its support for the development of relationships with foreign investors’ and the local business community.

For this meeting, AXON Soft has organized a roundtable debate, where three Information technology trends were analyzed. The subjects chosen for the talk were perceived as being very technical, by a group coming from different business areas, but this challenged people to discussions, so that everyone ended up understanding the concepts.

The first subject, among the three chosen from Gardeners’ predictions for 2015, was the Hybrid Cloud. A Hybrid Cloud is an integrated Cloud service, using both public and private Cloud at the same time for fulfilling different needs companies might have. The concept was clarified by the experts. The conclusions were that the utilization of Cloud will continue, mostly because of the costs reductions with hardware infrastructure. At the same time, a reluctance concerning the confidentiality of data stocked on the public Cloud still persists. This is why one would prefer to host its less sensitive operation on this type of Cloud.

In a tight relation with the development of the Cloud is the Internet of Things. Nowadays, the Internet is not only about humans connecting. Also, objects start to communicate with them, thanks to integrated devices that make the exchange of information and instant feedback possible. The IoT will make us win more time. Our most wanted resource, but once again the debate on the confidentiality of data has captured everybody’s attention. The Internet of Things works based on our personal information, given for free and out of our control. There are still many questions that will arise and need answers.
