Overview
We are looking for Senior .NET Backend Developers to work on a financial platform developed together with one of the largest banking institutions in Romania.
Your Profile
- Academic qualification in a technical field (IT or similar)
- Minimum 5+ years of relevant software development experience with .NET Framework and .NET Core
- Strong analytical and synthetical skills
- Awareness of software vulnerabilities and a security-oriented mindset
- Willingness to learn and team-oriented attitude
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work with attention to detail
- Strong problem-solving skills coupled with excellent communication skills
- Customer centric, passionate about delivering great digital products and services
- Experience with financial-banking projects is a plus
Technologies & Tools
- Strong experience with .NET Framework and .NET Core
- Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), SOLID principles and software design patterns
- Practical experience in designing, developing and maintaining RESTful APIs and service-oriented architectures
- Solid expertise in Microsoft SQL Server (MSSQL), including database design, query optimization and performance tuning
- Experience with unit testing frameworks and automated testing practices to ensure code quality and reliability
- Hands-on experience with Git version control and CI/CD pipelines
Your Role
- Design, develop and implement scalable backend solutions and services using .NET technologies
- Create, maintain and update technical documentation, including API specifications, solution designs, implementation details and operational guides
- Analyze business and technical requirements, translating them into robust, maintainable and high-quality software solutions
- Design, develop and maintain RESTful APIs and system integration components
- Ensure compliance with coding standards, development best practices and quality assurance guidelines
- Perform code reviews, provide constructive technical feedback and actively participate in engineering discussions
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver high-quality features
- Support integration testing, troubleshoot issues across different environments and ensure timely defect resolution
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives by promoting engineering best practices, process optimization and knowledge sharing within the team
