Overview
We are looking for Senior Android Developers to work on financial projects developed together with one of the largest banks in Romania.
Your Profile
- Academic qualification in a technical field (IT or similar)
- Senior-level, with 5+ years of relevant experience
- Strong analytical and synthetical skills
- Awareness of software vulnerabilities and a security-oriented mindset
- Willingness to learn and team-oriented attitude
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work with attention to detail
- Strong problem-solving skills coupled with excellent communication skills
- Customer centric, passionate about delivering great digital products and services
- Experience with financial-banking projects is a plus
Technologies and tools
- Experience with both Kotlin and Java
- Solid understanding of Kotlin’s modern features and best practices
- Proficiency with Kotlin Coroutines and/or RxJava for handling asynchronous tasks
- Extensive knowledge of the Android-SDK, including core components such as Activities, Services, Content Providers, and Broadcast receivers
- Good knowledge of security in Android applications
- Solid understanding of unit and UI testing (JUnit, Espresso, Mockito)
- Experience with static analysis tools – SonarQube, Android Lint, Detekt, or similar
- Proficiency with Android Jetpack components, such as Navigation, viewModel, LiveData, Room and Workmanager
- Good understanding of REST API’s, JSON and networking libraries like Retrofit or OKHttp
Your Role
- Develop clean, efficient, and maintainable code with a strong focus on performance, scalability and reusability
- Design and develop Android applications based on project specifications and user requirements
- Conduct unit testing and maintain Java applications to ensure high quality, reliability, and an optimal user experience
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements and deliver robust, high-quality features
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues to enhance application performance and functionality
