Internship 2013 - A short review

Internships’ main objective: Building a web application using a free 3-tier architecture, with good separation of concerns, ORM persistence and a compound-based user interface.
Intern: Denisa Cernea
About: 3rd Year at the Faculty of Automation and Computers Science, Computer Science Department, at the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca
Her first experience as an intern, Denisa had the chance to apply some of the theoretical concepts learned in school on a real project, under the supervision of a highly specialized project coordinator. According to Denisa, the biggest challenge has been discovering and working with Wicket, acomponent-based framework for developing web user interface, using its features and understanding a different programming paradigm.
The most important lesson learned during the internship :
“Well, I could easily say the most important lesson learned during this experience has been working in a team and understanding that a successful project is based on teamwork, not on individual performance.”
Final result: A web application for CV management.
